100-Word Review: Plants vs. Zombies (PC)

I don’t know how PopCap do it.
Plants vs Zombies is, at heart, nothing more than a fairly run of the mill tower defence game. The main difference here is that instead of soldiers, the enemy consist of hordes of zombies, and instead of a tower, you are defending your own delicious brains. You do this by placing various plants around your garden to halt their progress towards your house.
There is nothing really innovative here, but, as with all PopCap games, this is the most polished, refined, enjoyable, funny and addictive example of the genre out there.
